According to the manual idle speed activity should range from 5 to 75%. I get a decent rpm anyway so I haven't investigated this yet. Not sure why - perhaps the throttle wire is to short. I've turned the idle mechanical stop screw all the way out, but it has no effect on the idle setup. I've loaded the 3510 calibration file, set the base spark advance and done the idle adjustment again. MPI isn't as straight forward as I thought. Would really appreciate some valuable input from you guys Is 95 octane considered regular or premium (In norway we have 95 and 98 unleaded)? According to this article I can modify the calibration with some predefined values that might work. Would it be a good idea to modify the calibration file before I connect the ECU to the wire harness? In Norway we use 95 octane unleaded fuel.
Ignition/vacuum/WOT/etc is new terms for me and I have to learn this as I go along with the project. Which one should I choose for my setup? I've loaded the 3549, but not sure if this one fits the specification for the 2132 camshaft. There are only 2 calibration files for AMC V8's: How would this cam work with Pro Flo EFI?

I guess everything has to do with modifying fuel and spark - but I need some confirmation that I've chosen the correct calibration file for my V8 before starting with this process. I'm done with the basic timing and idle setup. The kit was installed with no problems - now I just need some general tuning tipsĮngine starts easy, but it starts to sputter under acceleration - and I'm trying to find the reason for this. I've bought the 35310 kit for my 1976 CJ7 with a 304.
